Popular Halloween Costumes This Year
Now that it’s October, it’s time to start thinking about Halloween. Have you decided on a costume yet? If you haven’t, you may want to get to work. It’s a great time to buy costumes now, as you’ll have the biggest possible supply to choose from and you’ll generally be able to come across costumes at better prices now than you will in a few weeks.
Why wait until the last minute, when every store is jam packed with people and all that’s left in the store is some uncomfortable outfit no one wanted to wear, along with a few lousy wigs? I’ve done that before, and I’m not going to let it happen again.
Be proactive and get your costume before everyone else does. You’ll have the chance to be more creative, and you’ll end up getting what you want. As for what you do want, if you’re not sure yet, I have a few suggestions that you may find useful.
You can always dress up as a celebrity if you’d like to. These always make for entertaining costumes. One such idea would be Susan Boyle if you’re a female. Bonus points if you like to sing.
There’s no doubt in my mind that Michael Jackson costumes will be all over the place. People will definitely want to honor the King of Pop, and these costumes should be in abundance this year.
You might need a wig, and you’ll probably need some makeup to go with his signature white glove. If you have a knack for singing, or especially dancing, you’ll be a hit.
Then there’s our new president. Love him or hate him, there will be people dressing up as him on both sides, and in different variations.
The Obama Halloween costume is sure to be a popular option this year. Whether you buy a mask or make your own, it should definitely be a fun one to pull off.
