Tom Ford S/S 2010 Eyewear Ads

For me, what Junya Watanabe is to ready-to-wear, Tom Ford is to eyewear; I fall in love with collection after collection but own no pieces because of the price points. Last year I came close to buying a pair but couldn’t pull the trigger, however with the way things look this season I’m not so sad anymore.
This new ad campaign features both mens and womens sunglasses and sight glasses, as modeled by Carolyn Murphy and Nicholas Hoult…

The photoshoot is so so perfect, and the eyewear looks great! The mens sunglasses in the 1st picture and the womens in the 3rd picture stand out the most to me. And I’m also starting to fancy the last 2 sight glasses with the extra thick frames for the ladies… at least I’m pretty sure it’s the glasses that I’m liking so much and not just the pictures.

If you enjoy eyewear like this, you should check out williamyan, where I got this from and where there is always great eyewear content, as well as much more fashion from the NYC streets.

Tres Noir hand made sunglasses from California

If you are into the Skate, Punk Rock or Kounter Kulture scene then Tres Noir hand made sunglasses are nothing new to you. Tres Noir optics continues to grow in popularity and have become a favorite with everyone from Bikers to Hot Rodders, Rockabilly enthusiasts to Hard Core Rockers.

We started carrying them in our retail boutque, Perpetual Vogue back in 2006 when Tres Noir first went into production. They made their public debut that year at the annual Ink and Iron show at the Queen Mary in Long Beach California. Tres Noir is a family owned, Southern California company. Tres Noir sunglasses are hand made in limited runs making them a real standout among the other glasses on the market. Each pair comes with their own case. You can own a pair of hand made Tres Noir glasses for a great price as most of their designs sell for around $85.00.

We just added Tres Noir glasses to our web site this week so that our customers in all parts of the worlds can now order and own a pair of these hand made optics.

Some specifics about Tres Noir Glasses:

Tres Noir handmade optics are a collection of handmade acetate framed sunglasses produced in limited quantities. The collection provides unique but classic sunglasses. A sunglass that is not mass-produced is what Tres Noir is all about. Based on Southern California culture- rock n’roll, action sports, and lowbrow art, the brand, Tres Noir has really come to life.

About the Glasses:

All plastic frames are made in limited quantities of handmade acetate. – Metal frames are made of 100% hypo-allergenic monel. – Lenses are made of shatterproof European CR39 and provide 100% UVA and UVB protection. – Hinges are factory milled and all styles feature silicon coated screws. – Polarized lenses are available in certain styles. – Certain frames are Rx-able and fit most prescriptions. – All frames come with a 1 year warranty against manufacture defects. – All Tres Noir Glasses come with their own Tres Noir Case.
